I am quitting my job because corporations are about profit, not people. I am a person, not a tool and not expendable in the quest for profit.
I am quitting my job because the balance of my life should be at least 98% joy to 2% ‘meh’, instead of the reverse.

I am quitting my job because the answer to the poet Mary Oliver’s question regarding what I should do with my “one wild and precious life” is definitely NOT THIS.
I am quitting my job because I am a human with so very much potential, frozen in place because I’m scared to give up health care, sick at the thought of selling one more cake.

I am quitting my job because it does not make me happy. It leaves me drained, anxious and depressed.

I am quitting my job because staying in a job just because, as a “responsible adult”, I am supposed to have a job is not enough reason to stay anywhere.
I am quitting my job because I, as a human being, deserve so much more. I deserve more money, more joy, more self respect.

I AM A QUITTER!
